Our Fee

Wentworth Solicitors offer professional services for very reasonable fees on flexible terms. We offer clients multiple options regarding our fees. We carry out most of work on the basis of agreed fee.  At least half of which must be paid in advance and the rest as may be agreed. The work which is undertaken on the basis of agreed fee the payment received is non-refundable. We also have the flexibility of working on the basis of fixed and hourly fees as well. Normally once we agree the fee for any application, then we carry out all the necessary work for the agreed fee. In case of fixed or hourly fees we endeavor to update the clients of the progress of their case and the fees. Our hourly rate for Grade A Solicitors starts from £350.00 per hopur. All our fees are subject to full terms and conditions, for further information please contact us. 

Disbursments 

For each case we charge clients only our own fees. Third party disbursments such as Court fee, counsel fee, translation of documents in English, expert reports, mediator’s costs, Home office fee, and NHS surcharge are not included in our professional fee. 

We do not charge VAT on our fees.

Note: In a straightforward divorce case, we may be able to finalise all matters at an approximate total cost of £2,000.00-£5,000.00 and disbursements. This Firm encourages all parties to settle cases early to bring a swift resolution to an already difficult time. If we are unable to settle the matter early, the costs will depend on how long the case may conclude. At regular stages, we will review the issue of costs to ensure that there is a cost-benefit to the Client at all stages. Children cases can range between £5,000.00 to £15,000.00 and disbursements are payable separately although if heavily contested this can increase upwards plus disbursements.
